Faith of a Cuckoo
Updated: Mar 26, 2021
The brain is stalled,
The meds are gone,
Surrounded by noise,
but swallowed by silence,
The list grows bigger,
The motivation is lost,
I have the instructions,
On how to start the engine,
I'm holding the keys,
But where do they go?
When the cuckoo grows up,
does it know it's out of place?
Or does it accept it's role,
and just have faith?
A whale can't breathe where it lives,
but can't live where it breathes,
How can nature be so cruel,
As to give us an environment,
in which we don't know what to do,
I refuse to burnout,
I can handle it all,
If Atlas can hold the world,
I can hold it together.
